Life is now in session. Are you present?” [B. Copeland].
Hello? Do you hear that? Your life is calling!
Pick-up!
Your life wants to know if you can come out and play.
Seriously, can you spare a few minutes for yourself today? No? How about this weekend? Maybe you should think about setting aside some time to enjoy lunch with a friend (on the patio), walk the dog at the park, take a bike ride or sit on the deck and read the paper.
You don’t need to plan anything too loud or flashy or extravagant. Can you find a few minutes of “me time away from the computer screen and the Blackberry”? Yes? That would be would be amazing!
Get out in the sunshine and enjoy the wonders Mother Nature has prepared for you. Before you know it, summer will draw to a close, and you’ll be packing away your shorts and breaking out the sweaters and wondering where all the time went.
Yes, I realize your In box is overflowing, and the bills are screaming for your attention, and the kids need carted off to one of their kid events. But you need some “me” time . . . to meditate or plan or be creative or reconnect with friends or sneak in a blissful nap . . . to escape the ongoing craziness.
No, it’s not selfish. Everyone needs to “stop every now and then. Just stop and enjoy. Take a deep breath. Relax and take in the abundance of life” [Happily Grateful].
We all need time to reflect.
To chill.
To consider calmly.
To widen our vision.
To look for meaning.
We can’t do it when we’re rushing through life.
Take time to pause.
Walk. Sit. Pray. Meditate.
Think deeply.
Then live.
With renewed direction and passion.

“Any given moment can change your life, you just have to be there” [Curly Girl].
